WHAT IS
FOOT PRESSURE
MAPPING?

Foot Mapping is a quick scan that shows how pressure is distributed across your feet when you stand, walk, or run. It creates a heat map of your foot, helping you understand your balance, movement, and any problem areas. This information can improve comfort, prevent injuries, and guide better footwear choices for everyday health and fitness.

WHY SHOULD YOU GET ONE?

This test shows how your feet strike the ground, helping improve movement efficiency, prevent injuries, and track changes over time. It also supports performance gains and provides personalized guidance on footwear or orthotics for improved foot health.

HOW IT'S DONE

Foot Mapping is performed using a pressure plate embedded with high-resolution sensors that capture detailed data on foot-ground interactions during standing, walking, or running.

The system records pressure distribution, force vectors, center of pressure, and temporal gait parameters for each foot. This raw data is processed to generate heat maps, foot force maps, and balance metrics, highlighting irregularities such as high-pressure zones, asymmetries, or inefficient gait mechanics.

Advanced analysis allows tracking of changes over time, supports injury prevention, and informs personalized interventions such as orthotics or footwear optimization.
